The JpGU 2019 is an annual meeting for scientists to confront on the socio-economic impacts that natural phenomena on the earth produce, which affect not only a country but the whole world, as other global risks. Geoscience is a basic science that deals with the causes of environment global risks in order to clarify mechanisms, predict phenomena and propose countermeasures.

In such context, scientists are invited to present up-to date frontier topics related to all earth and planetary sciences.

In the session on solid eatch sciences, GRed has presented the latest results related to the prototype of the monitoring unit proposed by our international consortium. This is a viable solution – both innovative and affordable – to prevent risk in case of hazardous ground events.

The event saw the participation of  8000 people including scientists, professors, students, political authorities.
